In both cases, you start out by dealing with a lot of paperwork (haha!) and carefully planning out the contents of your book. Slowly after years of persistence, you eventually build trust and good reputation in your local community. Because you've tied so many positive associations to what you do, while gathering a good amount of attention - it seems like everybody you know wants to know a little piece of your story.

This book we write is brand - what others perceive about our business. But just like any good story, there are eventually complications...

As time goes on, the environment changes - maybe some of the pages start to fray, or the library you're in starts acquiring new books & chucking old ones out. To stay afloat, you occasionally try some small edits: refreshing the front cover, maybe even add a few bonus chapters. You EVOLVE.

Evolving isn't just a new look or website - it's about using resources, keeping up with trends, and understanding what customers want without feeling overwhelmed. You become open to learning new ways, and sometimes even let go of old ways.

In today's world, 'evolving' is a lot easier said than done. The big problem isn’t the desire to change; it's the growing knowledge gap in dealing with technology that's causing most the confusion.

And so people have the dilemma where they want to evolve, but their mind tells them they don't have the time, money or attention to evolve. Ultimately, because we humans like familiarity, we choose to continue without evolving.
